Start of works on the introduction of 400kV line No. 450 into the future Belgrade 50 substation

Within the framework of the pan-European development plan TYNDP 2020, which includes the North Continental Southeast (CSE) ENTSO-E energy corridor of continental Europe, the construction of the Belgrade 50 substation with the distribution of 110kV and 400kV lines is planned. As part of the distribution of 400kV and 110kV transmission lines in front of the 400/110kV Belgrade 50 substation, the existing 400kV overhead line No. 450 RP Mladost – TS Novi Sad 3 is planned to be cut.

In this way, two single-system 400kV transmission lines are obtained:

– 400kV overhead line TS Belgrade 50 – RP Mladost (line A)

– 400kV overhead line TS Belgrade 50 – TS Novi Sad 3 (line B)

Elektroistok Izgradnja Ltd has begun work on the construction of single-system 400kV transmission lines for the introduction of DW No. 450 (RP Mladost – TS Novi Sad 3) into TS Belgrade 50, with an introduction route length of approximately 2x12km, defined by the Contract concluded between AD Elektromreža Srbije and Elektroistok Izgradnja Ltd.

In Elektroistok Izgradnja Ltd, the construction is underway of the production, assembly and erection of 96 steel lattice towers on both transmission line routes, and the installation of equipment and the performance of electrical installation works on the outgoing line B – DW 400kV No. 450 TS Belgrade 50 – TS Novi Sad 3, which will consist of 47 towers, are also planned.
